TERMS FOR THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

The processing and protection of personal data is subject to the present terms as well as to the relevant clauses of the Greek, European and international data protection law. If the user/visitor of the site does not agree with the following terms he/she should refrain from using the site’s services.

General Rules

We respect our customers’ wish to protect and safeguard the confidentiality of their personal data.

We collect and process personal data according to the relevant articles of the Greek and international legislation (in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation) with the sole purposes to improve our services as well as for promotional reasons, for statistical analysis and for quality assessment purposes. Some forms of processing may be entrusted to external specialized partners, in accordance to the law.

Types of personal data processed and reasons of processing

• Information on news and activities
  In order to keep the user informed of our activities and with the user’s explicit consent, we add his/her data to our mailing lists.
  

• Reservation and invoicing data

When the user makes an online or phone reservation or a reservation through any other channel, we collect and store the relevant data: name, phone number, email address, number of guests, date and hour, seating preferences etc.

We also store invoicing data when provided by our customer as well as a list of the total consumption of previous visits.

Some of the above mentioned data may be stored on external servers or on the Cloud.

Use of personal data 

We use the collected personal data for the following purposes with the explicit consent of the our customers:

• table reservations and invoicing
• to inform the user about the restaurant’s activities through a newsletter or other means
• to serve our customers faster and better when they visit our restaurant
• commercial promotion of the restaurant
• compliance with our fiscal and other legal obligations
• quality assurance, statistical analysis, satisfaction surveys and reviews of our business
  

We do not sell or deliver to third parties personal data we have collected with the following exceptions:

• We may allow third parties to access personal data when they act under a contract by which we have entrusted them with the data processing for the aforementioned purposes.
• Personal data may be provided to law enforcement and other state authorities when stipulated by the law.
  

Data retention period

We store personal data until the customer asks their deletion.

Customer’s rights

The customers can contact the restaurant by email at info@vassilenas.gr or by calling +30 210 7210501 in order to confirm whether we retain their personal data and ask their correction, modification or deletion. The customers may unsubscribe from receiving information about our activities by clicking the relevant link included in our correspondence.
